Windows Help & Support in New Jersey

Windows moves things, changes sign-in rules and pushes updates that occasionally break something. We fix the error in front of you and explain, in plain language, what caused it — so the same thing is less likely to catch you out again.

What We Help With

Windows 10, Windows 11 and Whether to Upgrade

Not every computer that can technically run Windows 11 should be pushed to it, and not every machine still on Windows 10 needs replacing tomorrow. The right answer depends on the age of the machine, the drive it uses and the programs you rely on.

We check whether your computer is eligible, whether the software you actually use is supported, and whether the upgrade is likely to leave you faster or slower — then do it properly, with your files backed up first.

How Remote Windows Support Works

You approve a secure remote session from your own screen and watch everything we do. If a fault stops Windows from starting at all, we will talk you through recovery options on the phone instead — and be honest about when a problem needs hands on the machine.

Home support is billed at $129 per hour. SteroGroup is an independent New Jersey IT provider and is not affiliated with Microsoft.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help with Windows 11 problems?

Yes. Windows 11 updates, sign-in issues, settings changes and error messages are among the most common home support requests we handle.

My Windows update keeps failing. Is that fixable?

Almost always. Failed updates are usually caused by low disk space, a corrupted update cache or a driver conflict, all of which we can repair remotely.

Should I upgrade to Windows 11?

If your computer is eligible and reasonably modern, yes. If it is older with a mechanical drive, the upgrade will make it feel slower and a replacement is the better use of the money.

Are you Microsoft support?

No. SteroGroup is an independent IT provider in New Jersey. We are not affiliated with Microsoft and do not act on its behalf.
